Combining Toot Your Horn Tuesday and Hot and Healthy Thru the Holidays went so well last week that I am going to do it again this week.

Starting Week 5...seeing any progress?
Yes my husband says that my stomach is smaller. I have not seen the scale move down at all, only up!!! I have gained almost 5 lbs since starting this challenge and my hubby and aerobics instructor both told me it is because I am gaining muscle. Dang it I just want to be skinny and weigh less, not skinny and weigh more. Seriously though, I feel better. I am sleeping better and I feel happier. So yeah I guess there is some progress :o)
Do you feel like you are "gettin' your groove on"? A nice routine?
I do and I don't! If I go to my aerobics classes I am doing great but the days where I can't make it or they are not open I suck!!! I need to get into a better routine here at home. That is my goal now, I am only going to be able to go to the community center three this week so I need to do something at home the other two days.
Are Keely's Pilates exercises kickin' your butt (in a good way)?
Yes, yes and yes. I am so sore all the time from the pilates work outs. But I love that I know I am doing them right and they feel like they are working!!! Bring it on Keely :o)
How about the Healthy tips from Mama M.?
I plead the 5th!!! Seriously I think I ruined all the healthier eating last week with all the yummy food in my house and all those yummy cookies that were made when Sharla was here. This week I am getting back on track.....well the cookies are kinda hard to resist though. Oh dang it....I'm trying my best ok!!!
Now it is time for Toot Your Horn Tuesday which is a blog carnival created by Leah at A Silly Little Sparrow. Tooting your horn is a great ego boost and hey who doesn't need that?
I am going to Toot my horn about the wonderful Ham I made on Thanksgiving!!! It was so yummy and everyone loved it! I have been able to make good ham's in the past but this one topped them all. It was so yummy, it melted in your mouth!
Ok I know, how can I write about being Hot and Healthy when I am talking about this awesome ham of mine. Well Hot and Healthy THRU THE HOLIDAYS remember??? That means we still get to eat the good food we just have to know how to control the portions and still work out even though it is the Holiday season.
Anyway back to the ham....
So what I did was make a mustard and brown sugar glaze and put it on the top of the ham when I was baking it and it was flipping awesome. I had no idea ham could taste so good. Man I am so hungry right now that my stomach is growling. I just came home from working out and have not eaten lunch yet and now all I want is the ham but it is done :o(

You go girl, you are doing awesome! You are totally gaining muscle and losing fat...you're not suppose to worry about what the scale says, just what your pants and how well they fit say. :) I know easier said than done. :) Your ham sounds delish, YUM!

Keep it up! It sounds like you're doing great. And the fact that muscle weighs more than fat, it drives me crazy. I'm with you, I want to see the scale go down! :)

In the fall during my volleyball season I couldnt figure out why I was gaining wait when I worked out and had practice every day!! So I was glad when I found out it was muscle..lol. But Keep up the good work!!!
Congrats on doing so well! That gaining muscle is a bunch of garbage lol. I know how you feel, lose weight, slim down. But you are going to rock your tone body next summer if you keep going like this!

I'm so proud of you, Helga! You go, girl! I'm not doing so hot with the workouts - but I'm doing great on the eating front. December is my month to kick it up in the workout department. So, here we go....
