Hot and Healthy Thru the Holidays! Week 6

Hot and Healthy thru the Holidays is one of my favorite posts that I do through out the week. I like to be accountable for what I have done over the last week and I also like that I can go back and look at what you have all done. If you want to play along or you just want to read about how Hot and Healthy we are then head over to Mama M and Keely's blogs and you can read all about it!

Now on to this weeks questions.

Did y'all recover from Thanksgiving and kick some Hot and Healthy bootay this past week?

I did really good last week. I worked out for a total of 3 hours but then because of Kobe's surgery on Friday I didn't end up working out Friday. I should have worked out on Wednesday instead but I had so much planned that day that I did not have time. I work out on Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri and I always leave my Wednesdays for running around and getting caught up on everything at home that needs to be done.

How bout Keely's Pilates exercise's?

I did them three days!

What about Mama M's healthy tip..Did you eat more fruits and veggies?

Umm...No! Sorry but I don't think I really ate anymore than I usually eat and that is definitely not enough! I will work on that...promise!!!

Did you get the 4 hours of cardio in?

As I said in question 1....No, I only got 3 hours in last week.

Last but not least...What are your goals for the next 3 1/2 weeks?

My goal is to keep working out and start loosing weight. I have gained 9 lbs since I started working out and that is really discouraging but I measured myself last week on Thursday and I am going to do it again this week on Thursday to see if there is any difference. My aerobics instructor and Dewayne have said there is a noticeable difference. I can see that my stomach is looking a little bit smaller and my jeans fit better but I want to see the difference when I measure myself. The scale is starting to scare me!!!!

How did you do in the last week???

Hello, I found you on the blog hop! I enjoyed reading your update. One thing I often hear is if you feel like your clothes are fitting better than that's a great sign! Seeing a plus 9 lbs on the scale is very discouraging, but know that it's how you feel about yourself and how your clothes are fitting that say more than the scale. Keep up the great work. I am always inspired by people who care about their health and are doing something about it. It keeps me going and motivated to do the same. Thanks!

I think that your pants feeling looser is definitely a good thing..but I totally understand your frustration with the scale..

I hate the scale and never weigh myself for that very reason..

I think it's all about how you feel..

Good job!

I quit weighing myself when I started working out. My pants got smaller and people said I looked better but the scale said I gained 6 lbs! Go figure. I chalk it up to the fact that muscle weighs more than fat!

Muscle weighs more than fat... so if you have added 9lbs on the scale but your pants are fitting better I say the weight gain is because you have been rocking out the exercise!! Thats awesome girl keep it up :)
