Hot and Healthy Thru the Holidays! Week 7



It's Tuesday which means it is time for Toot Your Horn Tuesday and Hot and Healthy Thru the Holidays. It is a great way to encourage each other and keep each other motivated to loose weight or just to hold each other accountable. Let's start by answering the questions for Hot and Healthy and then I am going to Toot my Horn in there.

Ladies...how's it goin'? We are down to our last three weeks of Hot and Healthy...can you see a difference?

Why yes...yes I can!!! My stomach is getting smaller and my body is getting more toned. Also (here is the part where I Toot My Horn) I stepped on the scale yesterday morning and I have lost 6 lbs. I have gained 10 lbs since I started this challenge but I now know that I have been gaining muscle and not just packing on the weight. I can actually see a difference.

How are you doin' with your cardio...did you get your four hours in? (Oh, and Keely's being easy on us...we're just gonna leave the cardio goal at four hours!)

Last week I did not get my 4 hours in because Kobe had an infection and was miserable. I was not able to leave the house to work out at all and had to do all my work outs at home. I will tell you that I tried my best to work out as much as possible but I was about an hour or so short of my 4 hour goal.

Have you been able to incorporate more fruits and veggies in your diet? How about water?

I am defiently trying to eat more fruit and veggies. I will say that it is not as much as I would like to see myself eat but it is a big improvement.

On the water part.......I ROCK!!! I drink at least 6 cups a day and over the last 3 or 4 days I have been drinking about 10-12 cups a day. I am surprised how easy it is getting into the water groove. But I must say that I think I have lost the 6 lbs mostly because I am drinking so much water.
