Five Question Friday 12/04

My Little Life

Can you believe it, it's Friday again! I swear I feel like I was just doing a Five Question Friday but that was a whole week ago. Where is time flying to? Maybe it's flying to Jamaica on vacation? Anywho let's get back on subject. It is Friday and let me start by telling you guys that Kobe's surgery this morning went well. We arrived at the hospital at 5 am and waited around until the Drs took Kobe to surgery at 7:37 am. He had tubes placed in both ears and then the Drs decided since this was his second set of tubes that they wanted to take out his adenoids. Kobe was out of surgery by about 8:25 am and he did great when waking up from the anesthesia. He didn't cry or freak out, just reached out for the nurse and she held him until I got to him. We were home by about 10 am and Kobe and Mamma went to sleep. Kobe is doing great now, he has pain relievers that I have been giving him and he is just happy as can be. Thank you for thinking of him and your prayers, we sure did appreciate them.

Now on to Five Question Friday which is a blog carnival created by Mama M. If you want to play along just click on the button above or On Mama M's name. If you don't have a blog you can always leave a comment with your answers, just make sure to link back to Mama M if you do! Have fun, I know I always do :o)

1. Favorite gift you are GIVING this year?

The boys are getting XBOX 360s this year. It is a combined present from a lot of family members. The boys have been asking for them for so long and they are going to be ecstatic when they see they are getting them :o)

2. How many parties are you attending between now and Christmas?

None! Dewayne's work Christmas party was last night but obviously we had other things on our minds....waking up at 5 am this morning to take Kobe for his tubes.

3. What is your favorite Christmas song?

The song that has been stuck in my head for about a month now is This Christmas sung by Chris Brown from the movie This Christmas. I also love the song Last Christmas I gave you my heart but the very next day, you gave it away! My Mamma loved that song growing up and it always reminds me of her :o)

4. Who was your favorite elementary school teacher and why?

I remember my 4th grade teacher Mr.Brown. He was my first American teacher and he was so awesome. He used to have a prize thing that if you were good and did everything you were supposed to dd, he would let you eat in the classroom at lunch with him. We used to love that, he would play math games with us or tell us stories and the whole class loved it. Mr.Brown always had some amazing story to tell and he was such a patient man.

5. If you had a choice to live in any other period of time (other than now) what era would you choose and why?

The Victorian era! I think the dresses are just amazing and also the whole look during that era is amazing!

Now what about you? Don't you want to play along and answer these questions for yourself?

I can see you in the Victorian era - your hair would be amazing in Victorian banana curls!

The boys should love those Xbox 360's! Aaron wants every game system around - we have a Wii and he has a DS handheld (which just broke), so he's getting a DSi this year for Christmas - (one handheld and one gaming system for the tv is all I can handle...he'd be plugged in 24/7 if I'd let him - but I don't! He continually tells us what a mistake it was to get a Wii instead of an Xbox 360, which is much "cooler", according to Aaron) now he wants an Xbox, too - he's not getting one...your boys are very lucky!!! :) You'll have to let us know their reaction Christmas Day! :) Cool!

You boys will love the XBox! We have a Wii, and my 3 older ones have DS's.

Glad everything went well with the surgery.

They are going to be so excited when they see that xbox!

The victorian period would be cool to live in.

The boys are each getting a XBOX 360. They do not share a room and it would be a huge fight if I just get one. My boys are spoiled, I know!
