Shopping day

Today the boys and I went into Reykjavik to go shopping.  I picked the big boy up from school and off we went.  We started by picking up some Christmas presents that I had been wanting to get.  Then we went off to visit my bestest friend.  I haven't seen her in a few weeks so we were due for a visit.  It was great seeing her and it was so much fun to get to see her new Photography Studio.  She is amazing (she is the one who took the pictures that are on my header) and I hope and pray she does well.

After leaving the bestest we headed to the mall.  Once at the mall we got the boys the skateboards that their wonderful Aunt Sharla gave them.  They were so excited and couldn't wait to try out the skateboards.  Unfortunately they were only able to try out the skateboards for a few minutes in the parking lot of the mall.  They will get a chance to try them out for real tomorrow :o)

After the mall I went to one more store to pick up a few things I needed and then we went to IKEA to eat dinner.  They have a great cafeteria type place and the best part is that they have free kids meals with every adult meal so I only pay for my food and Tyrique's food!  The food is super yummy anyway :)

Now we are home getting ready for bed since we have work and school tomorrow.

What did you do today?

It's always so funny that when I check out your comments, you're going to bed...the time change always throws me for a loop.

It's great that you got to see your friend - I do love her work! And, I know how much you love Ikea, so I'm glad you got to visit! :)

Today I baked a pie - Apple Cranberry. I have to host our church cell group...we have a group of 4 couples and we meet every other Tuesday. We rotate who hosts. Tonight's our turn. So, I better clean this mess up. My pie turned out really nice (it's always a toss up...will it turn out or not?). And, today was voting day, so I did that, too.

Maybe we'll talk to you tomorrow!

Sounds like a good day of shopping! We have an IKEA near by and the food there is so cheap! A lot of people eat there for breakfast!

Today I registered Caleb for kindergarten! I can hardly believe he'll be 5 next year!
