Last Saturday

On my last Saturday in the states I spent the day on the phone.  I have been talking to friends and my wonderful Aunt Sharla today.  I am really going to miss Sharla.  She doesn't like to fly so I know I won't see her in Iceland so I am going to have to make sure I get out to see her when I come to the states next time.

I am pretty much all packed.  I have a few little things here and there that need to be put into the last suitcase.  I need to wash my jeans that I am going to wear for the journey home.  Can you believe it I said home!!!  I am going home :-O  I can not believe Iceland is going to be home to me again in a few days.  Some of you have asked if I will be able to get home with the active volcano that has grounded a whole bunch of airports in Europe....the answer to that is, I hope so!!!  Right now that way that the wind is blowing it is causing the ash to go to Europe grounding flight in many different countries such as England, Sweden, etc.  If the wind starts blowing in this direction I am in trouble and my flights will probably be cancelled.  But for now I am optomistic that I will be just fine getting home.  Keep us in your prayers if you are the praying type would ya :o)

I have been talking to my Mamma, sisters and my Aunt Sonja and we have been talking about what we are going to do when I get to Iceland.  I can tell you that the day I get there I am going to enroll the boys in school and then I am going to get my hair did :o)  I can not wait to get some highlights in my hair....I have two aunts that are hair dressers and I am super excited to be able to have great hair again.

I am going to an open house at the college that I will be attending Law school on Thrusday.  I am so excited about checking out the school and the little town that I will be living in next year.  Before I start law school I have to go to an accilerated program where I get my Associates in one year and when I am done with that I can start towards my law degree.  I am going to get my associates in the school that is located in about 5 minutes away from my house.

I own an apartment or maybe rather a duplex in Icleand and I am going to be moving back there when I get to Iceland.  I also own a car that will be ready and waiting for me when I get there.  I am so relieved that I still own them....at least I have somewhere to start.  It is so much easier to start your life from scratch when you have a home and a car.  I didn't have either one here in the states.

My posts have been a little bit all over the place lately and I am sorry for that but that is how my mind is lately :o)    I am going to go watch some more TV now...a Lifetime movie that I recorded called The Front.  I hope you have a great night and I will see you tomorrow for Getting to Know YOU!

Good Night everyone!!!

Just got back...am unpacking myself..and reviewing some notes for a speaking engagement on Tues. morning...hope things go well for you with that volcano! Saw the news this morning...keep me posted...don't know when I'll get to putting up my next post, but I'll check my email, your blog and my blog for updates... :) Hope we can connect, because it would be a real treat to meet up...but, if this is a private time for your family - saying good bye and all, I do understand...I was thinking about that last night. I want you to do what you need to do and feel like you did the very best thing. :)
