Getting ready

Whew, what a day! We have been out and about all day long. We started by going to the store this morning to get the boys dress up shoes to go with their suits. Then we went to lunch at A&W (gross), next we went to visit Dewayne's little brother that I had never met.

His little brother is 13 (he will be 14 in July) and Tyrique and him became fast friends. They are both into all the same things, sports, video games, girls, phones, etc! We BBQed for dinner and everyone had a great time. Kobe walked away with the Toy Story 2 movie and couldn't be happier with his new movie. He is a huge Buzz Lightyear fan! Markus was happy as could be to play with the XBOX 360 and shoot some hoops with the big boys when he felt like coming outside.

It really was nice to get out of the house. I have pretty much barricaded myself inside except when I go to the store. I don't know anyone here and I don't really feel up to visiting Dewayne's family. It just feels weird and everyone acts like I am an outcast (or so I feel like).

I can't wait to go home to MY family and MY friends!!!! 17 more days and I am outta here :o)

I am off to get ready for tomorrow. We are going to go with Dewayne to church in the morning and then I dunno what we are going to do the rest of the day.

Happy Easter to you all!!

That would be weird, to be with the family you are leaving. I don't blame you - I would barricade myself in, too.

Aaron was a Buzz Lightyear fan, too - when Toy Story first came out! He would jump off the sofa and say "To Infinity and Beyond!" It was so cute because he would really say "To Infility and Beyond" because he couldn't pronounce infinity. :) Memories...
