Monkey Minute

Today I read a story about a beautiful little girl named Monkey.  Monkey is a sweet little 16 month old girl who was just diagnosed with Neuroblastoma.  I can't even imagine what her parents are going through after hearing these news.  I ask that you all click on the button in the left top corner of my blog and visit her family blog and show them some love.

There is a blog hop called Monday Minute that Ian over at A Daily Dose of Reality has and in honor of Monkey he is calling today's Monday Minute, Monkey Minute.  Ian is doing something special for Monkey this Wednesday and wants everyone to check out his blog on Wednesday.  Please check on his blog now as well to support what he is doing to help out Monkey's family.

Now on to the questions :o)

1. How old do you act?

I would say that most days I act my age.  I can laugh and joke but I am 29 and act that way :o)
2. As far back as you can remember what did you want to be when you grew up?

A lawyer!

3. If you were to write a book based on your life, what would the title be?

Drama Queen and her three sons!!!  LOL I'm kidding, I don't have a clue!

4. What's something that you do that is considered childish by most?

I love to poke people and tease them till they get irritated with me....it is my way of getting attention and the only thing I get out of it is someone yelling at me to leave them alone :o(  I have done this since I was tiny little and I still do it.  I was poking Tyrique earlier today and laughing and he got really irritated with me?  I don't get it, why wasn't he laughing with me?

5. The last question isn't a question.  Write a story of a time when you or someone you know overcame great adversity.

I honestly don't think I have anything worthy to say about me here but I do have a step dad that was diagnosed with Colon Cancer the day Kobe was born (September 6, 2007).  He had surgery to remove it and his scar is WAY bigger than my c-section scar and he had endless rounds (that's what it seemed like but it was about 6 months worth) of chemo and today I am proud to say that he is cancer free!!!  He went to a check up just last week and everything came back clean.

Now that you have read my answers please head over to Monkey's page and Ian's page and play along.  Show Monkey's family some love!!

I thought about being a lawyer! But I am living my number one dream job of being a rancher so I am happy! Thanks for a link to Prayers for Monkey, what a sweetheart!
