Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from the boys and I from Iceland.  Halloween is not celebrated here and the boys are not happy about it :o(  

I had to leave work early today because Kobe is sick again!!  He vomited last night and was awake for a few hours in the middle of the night with a fever.  He fell asleep about 4 AM and I decided to go to work and see how the day went.  At 10 AM I got a call from Tyrique telling me that Kobe had just woken up and he was crying and felt burning up.  I rushed home and have been here with my little sick baby all day.  He is feeling better tonight and I just hope it stays that way!!

Markus went to a Halloween party last night that his class mate had.  Markus wanted to be a Zombie so my sister worked her magic and made him look awesome.  The boys took this picture on my Mac and I am so glad because the camera battery died when I tried to take a picture of him.

Monster Pants

I have mentioned a few times in my past posts that I have been making monster pants and it is about time that I show you what the monster pants look like.

This pair is for an infant and I LOVE the orange and brown together.

The green pair of monster pants is for an infant as well but they are a little bit bigger than the orange ones.  These pants are my favorite of the three that I have done!

Here are the two infant pants together....aren't they adorable?

I got my first order for a pair of monster pants and this time the pants I made were for a 3 year old.  I wanted to do them in some fun colors and I love how this pair turned out.

The proud new owner loves them too.  He keeps showing everyone the monster on his butt LOL.

I know this picture is sideways (I couldn't turn it no matter what I tried...I am on my work computer so photo editing is limited).

I am working on a new pair now that are pink for the new baby sister of the 3 year old that got the gray pair.  I can't wait to see how the pink ones turn out :o)

Five Question Friday

Friday is here and I am sitting at work just starting my work weekend!  Kobe is feeling better so he is going to be spending the day with my brother in law.  Tyrique and Markus have school and then they are going to go out to play with their friends and celebrate that the weekend is here :)

I dunno.....

Hmmmm, this is really hard!!

Ummm, how bout....uuhhh, I really don't know!!!

I am going with Taye Diggs because he is my favorite actor cause he is really hot and yummy and stuff.

Oh but wait....I think Shemar Moore (the beautiful guy from Criminal Minds) is super HOT too so I am gonna go with him too (I can pick two right??).

2. Do you budget your Christmas shopping or just get it done without budgeting?

I don't budget my Christmas shopping.  I am hoping to finish my Christmas shopping by the end of November though so I wont be doing anything last minute.

3. What is the craziest fad diet you have ever done?

I am not much for Fad dieting, I can only think of one diet that I went on that wasn't just counting calories and watching what I eat and that was the Vegetable Soup Diet.  I had to eat Vegetable Soup at every meal (I made the soup myself) and then I was able to eat only fruit with it one day and only vegetable the other day and so on and so forth.

4. Is there a TV show that you have seen every episode/season of?

Um....yeah....there are a few!!!

Is that bad that I have seen every episode/season of this many shows?  Nah....right???

Have I ever mentioned that I don't listen to Country Music???  Well, I don't but I LOVE this song and every time I hear it I just get all mushy inside!!!

I was home from work today with a sick little man.  Kobe has started getting everything that is going around....poor thing!!  When I was walking out the door this morning he started to cry and when I went to him I felt that he was burning up.  He has a cold with an icky cough.  Poor little thing is miserable and is super clingy.  

I had plans to go out tonight with work and now that went down the drain :o(  We were going to go to the movies to see Social Networking...the Facebook movie.  I was really excited to get out of the house but I have to tell yah that I am just as happy to cuddle in bed with my lil man.

Now it is after 8 PM and time for me to put Kobe to bed (we are gonna watch some cartoons first).

The View

Thursday after work I went home to get Tyrique and Markus and off we went to my Mamma's house to get Kobe.  We stayed the night at Mamma's and had a great night and then on Friday afternoon we headed back home since I had to work the weekend.  I took some pictures while we were at Mamma's so I could show you the view.

First I had to take some pictures of my sleepy boy watching Simba (The Lion King).

When you walk out the front door and look left these mountains are what you see!  

Aren't they beautiful?  Last time I was at Mamma's the mountains did not have snow and now they did.  The boys were so excited to see the snow.

The living room window is like the most beautiful portrait because no matter which direction you look the view is amazing and that is how it is just walking out the front door.  

My three Sons

I was taking pictures the other day of my beautiful boys and I wanted to share them with you.

First off is Tyrique with his ever growing hair....he looks a little tired in this picture but still as handsome as ever!

Next comes Markus with his ever growing hair LOL.  Markus decided that he wants his hair to grow long like Justin Bieber's :-0  I'm still getting used to him with long hair.  I keep asking him if he wants a hair cut but he is stubborn as ever that he wants it long.

Last but not least is Kobe.  He just got a Lazy Town hat and wanted me to take a picture of him with his hat. He was making an ugly face but at the last minute he changed his expression and this is how the picture ended up.  

Just Thursday and a little update

I was off on Monday and Tuesday and Monday Kobe and I spent lounging around in our PJ's enjoying not having to do anything (I really could have been cleaning and organizing but....I didn't feel like it).  On Tuesday I met my Step Dad in Reykjavik (the capital of Iceland) and he took Kobe for me.  My Mamma and Step Dad take him when I work on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Kobe was not a happy camper when he realized he was not coming home with me.  He screamed bloody murder the whole time.  He is okay though cause once he gets to his grandparents house he is really happy.  He loves being with them (I think it's because he gets spoiled rotten) and he gets to spend time with my little sisters who all adore him too.  My poor little munchkin is just a Mamma's boy who has a hard time separating from me.

Tyrique and Markus are doing well.  Markus is playing Basketball and he LOVES it.  He has practice 3 times a week and so far has had one tournament.  He is trying to get adjusted to living in Iceland, he is speaking the language very well but is having a hard time learning to read and write in Icelandic.  Markus asks me on a regular basis if we can move back home (home being stateside).  He had a hard time making friends but in the last two weeks he has started going out to play with kids much more.

Tyrique is also involved in sports.  He is in Parkour (it is where they run up walls and do flips...some sort of gymnastics).  He goes to practice twice a week and can't get enough.  Tyrique is going to light therapy three times a week for his eczema and he has Pityriasis Alba, so far we are seeing some improvements.  He goes into the booth for about 30 seconds at a time (once per visit) and he has been going for about a month now.  His skin has not cleared up completely but his itching has improved and so have the sores (he scratches till he bleeds).  Tyrique loves living in Iceland and he is doing great speaking, reading and writing the language.  He has an advantage though cause he learned to read and write in Icelandic first and then English.

Outside my window..it's dark out still and it is really cold.  It is 2 Celsius or about 35 Fahrenheit....brrrr it's freezing cold here and I am working inside and outside!

The time is..7:28 AM

Today I feel..tired.  I went to sleep about 7:30 PM last night and slept until about 4:30 AM so you would think I would be well rested but I would love to get back in the bed and sleep a few more hours :) 

I am thinking.. that I hope today goes by fast!

At the moment, I am thankful.. for the overtime I am getting this weekend!!  

I am going..to be working till 5:30 PM and then I am off to see the Wizard getting Tyrique and Markus and heading to Mamma's house!

I am wearing..my work clothes!

I wish..I could have things my way LOL!!!

I am reading..Blogs....that is all I have time for!  I am just glad to have some time to do that :o)

  

I am working on..being better at blogging!

I am hoping..that the cleaning fairy will come by my house today while I am working!

I am hearing..Airplanes getting ready to take off.

I bet you didn't know..that when I see the planes taking off I wish I was in those planes and I dream about where that plane is going :o)

[Thursday] get Ty and Markus and go to Mamma's house when I get off work.

The Moon

Today I read the most amazing status ever on facebook and I have to share it with you girls.

Never ignore a person who loves you and cares for you. One day you may realize you've lost the moon while counting the stars.

Today was the last day of my shift and the day could not go by fast enough.  It has been raining like crazy this afternoon and all I could think about was getting home and putting some PJ's on, getting under the covers and watching a movie with the boys.  Now I am here and that is exactly what I am going to do.  I want to make sure I pay attention to the three moons that are all around me :o)

Boring Saturday

It's Saturday afternoon and I am sitting at work waiting for the clock to say 5:30 so I can go home.  The weekend shifts are always the hardest shift because they are the longest.  I work 36 hours during the weekend shifts and I am always so tired afterwards, the house looks a mess and the boys are in serious need of some Mom time.  

I have been knitting up a storm and have lots of cute projects to show off to you guys.  I am making Monster Pants and I am working on my third pair.  They are so darn cute and everyone who sees them goes crazy for them.  I am working on an order pair right now and I am almost done.  I am hoping to be finished with them by early next week so I can hand them over to their excited new owner :o)

I have started my Christmas shopping and I am so excited, I have done quite a bit of shopping already and it is the middle of October.  I have some presents that I want to have mailed out by the middle of November so they get there on time (sometimes the mail system sucks when delivering mail overseas).  I want to have my Christmas shopping done by the end of November and if things go my way I will :o)

Five Question Friday

I had to check to see if there were pigs flying outside because today makes 3 posts in one week LOL!!!  There were no pigs flying though, just dark and cold outside this morning.  

My morning started out bad because I got up at 2:30 AM because I was sick to my stomach and I haven't slept since (I went to bed at 11 PM Last night).  I had to be at work at 5:30 and I didn't make it in till a little after 6 because of my stomach issues ugh!!!  Now I am here and I feel like crap :o(  Oh well, tomorrow will be a better day :o)

Today is my Mamma's birthday so I have to give her a shout out on my blog...

I like candy corn but only a few pieces at a time.  Otherwise I love me some miniature snickers....yumm!!!!

Yep....don't you???  I hate having to scramble looking for sock or anything else when I am getting dressed.  I fold my undies too :o)

That babies grow up and turn into teenagers who talk back and think you don't know anything.

I don't have a significant other so I am going to skip this question.

Today I feel..still a little blah :o(  I need to get over this and get back to my normal self again!

[Friday] work and come home to spend a little time with my boys and then early to bed.

[Saturday] work, spend time with the boys and then I have a birthday party to go to that night.

[Sunday] work and try to stay awake since I am going to stay up late on Saturday night!  I am such a wuss, I can't stay up late when I work....I get up at 4:30 AM and am out the door by 5:15 and work till 5:30 PM.  By the time 8 or 9 o'clock come around I am ready to hit the hay.
