Getting to know YOU

The weekend is almost over (boo for you Abby) and in 6.5 hours I am off!!!  I am so glad because this weekend has been crazy busy at work and I am exhausted.  Also, the boys are at my Mamma's house and I really miss them and can't wait to see them!!!  When I get off work I am going to go to my sisters house (my home for the moment) and change clothes, pack my laptop and some clothes oh.....of course I have to remember to pack my knitting stuff and then I am going to Mamma's house.  I am gonna stay with her the next two days while I have off.  I am really excited to be able to spend some time catching up on my knitting with Mamma :o)

1. Do you think mustaches are sexy?

It depends on who has a mustache and what kind of mustache they have!  I think mustaches that are not trimmed and taken care are gross!!!  Some men look old with mustaches and others look weird without them.  So basically the answer is.....yes and no!

2. What's the last concert you've been to?

The one and only concert I have ever been to is an Alicia Keys concert I was invited to go to by a great friend in April of 2008!  We had so much fun and the concert was amazing!  Thanks again Thora, we had a blast!!

3  What was your favorite 80's sitcom?

Who's the boss!!!  I remember my Mamma used to love this show and I loved watching it with her.

4. Were you named after anyone?

Yes, I was named after my maternal Grandmother.  I have her full name and my boy cousin who was the first boy born (I was the first girl born) was named after my Grandfather.  

5. When you buy new clothes, do you wash before wearing?

Nope!!!  I always wash the clothes for my babies but once the boys hit a certain age they wear them straight out of the store just like me.  It really is gross if you think about it but I just don't think about it LOL!!

6. If you didn't blog, what would you do with your spare time?

Write on my laptop for no one to read!  I used to do that back in the day.  I made plans for our life and wrote about my goals and my dreams for myself and the boys.  I think I would probably have a lot more time to read, watch TV, knit, sew and spend time with my boys if I didn't blog.  That does not mean I am gonna quit blogging though!!!

7. What is your favorite department store?

JcPenney, Walmart, Target....I could go on forever!!!  I miss the stores in America!!  

8. If  you were to get Laser Hair Removal..where would you get it?

I would get it on my legs, under my arms and in my Vajazzle area LOL!!!  Imagine never having to shave any of these places again...that would be great!!!  I wonder how much laser hair removal is???  Maybe one day when I am rich and have had all the plastic surgery I want to have I will go get laser hair removal LOL!!!

It is Friday and I am at work.  I was informed last night that one of my dear bloggy friends is not gonna love me no more if I wish for the weekend to go by fast (I am working this weekend and said in my post yesterday that I hope the weekend goes by fast LOL).  Abby, I am so sorry and I hope the weekend crawls by for you :o)

It has been crazy busy at work so I am just going to try to get this post done as quick as possible.

1. Are you a neat sleeper or a messy sleeper?

I am a neat sleeper.  I have woken up a few times and it looks like I never even slept on the bed.

3. What is something that you wish you had been warned about?

That my cute lil babies would turn into teenagers that talk back.  I didn't see that one coming when I got pregnant with my boys!!!

4. What was the best thing you ever found at a garage sale/flea market?

I can't think of anything at the moment.  Oh wait.....when I was 10 or 11 years old I rode my bike past a Garage Sale and stopped by.  I found some blue bra that was super duper padded and I bought it.  I loved to wear this bra when I was playing house and I can tell you that between my sister and I that bra got a lot of use out of it LOL.

5. If you could have any meal brought to you right now, what would it be?

Chick Fil A!!!

It only took me about 4 hours to get this post out....it has been a crazy day :o)

Just Thursday

I took a week off from blogging.  I went to my Mamma's house last Friday and stayed until Sunday.  The  boys and I slept in a tent that I bought on the way there.  I have to say that the ground is really hard....it doesn't matter how many blankets you put on the ground it's still super hard!!!  Kobe was scared of the tent because he was scared the bugs were in there (the bugs are any kind of bug...spiders, flys or even just a lady bug!).  

We spent Saturday night at my bestest friend Sigruns house.  We grilled and sat in the hot tub all night.  It was so nice to be with her and her family, I haven't spent much time with them since I started working and I really miss having my bestie around!!

This week was spent working and then for the last two days I haven't done much of anything other than knitting and watching shows online.

At the moment, I am thankful.. that my Mamma took the boys for me this weekend while I am working.

I am going.. to be working the whole weekend!

I am wearing.. a T-shirt and PJ bottoms.

I wish.. my apartment was done!!

I am reading.. nothing!!!

I am working on.. watching the first season of Accidentally on Purpose (it's a really good show).

I am hoping.. the weekend goes by fast!

Just Thursday

Before anything else I want to start out by wishing my wonderful Aunt Sharla a Happy belated Birthday!!!  I'm sorry I am the worst niece ever and forgot to contact you on Tuesday :o(  I hope you had a wonderful day, wish I could have been there....or at least wished you a Happy Birthday on your special day!!!

Ah, it's Thursday and in a little over 2 hours I am off for 3 whole days :o)  I can't wait!!!!  Sorry I have been slacking on my blog this week but life has been really crazy hectic.  I ended up working 48 hours last weekend and slept for about 10 hours the whole weekend and it wore me out...I can't wait for that paycheck though :o)  It's all going to pay for the renovations on the house but it will look really good in my bank account for the 2 minutes it's there LOL.

I am at work and it's busy so I don't have time to chit chat but I did want to get my Just Thursday post up.  Head on over to Abby's blog and join in the fun!!!  

Outside my window..the weather is blah (cloudy and it was raining earlier today). 

The time is.. 5:05 PM and it is almost time to go home for the day (I started this blog post almost 2 hours ago and I know I am going to have to finish this when I get home because today has been crazy busy).

Today I feel..exhausted after a crazy day at work....it is now 11:37 PM and I am finally getting around to finishing up this post!

I am thinking..that my bed looks really nice and comfy right now :o)

At the moment, I am thankful..thankful it's Just Thursday and I have the next 3 days off.

I am going..to sleep!!!

I am working on..one day at a time.  I am the kind of person that is always thinking about tomorrow and right now I am just going to enjoy the moment.

I am hoping..Kobe will go to sleep for me...he is still up!?!?!?!

I am hearing..Kobe jumping on my bed telling me that he is doing flump flips (front flips).

Around the house.. I dunno, I haven't really been out of my room since I got home.  We had a family get together in my room and have all been laying around chit chatting all night.  I just kicked everyone out so I can go to sleep!!

I bet you didn't know..we still have a ton of ash all over Iceland and it is a pain in the butt for car rental companies (Hertz=me).

One of my favorite..times of bed when I am working is bed time....my days seem endless sometimes!

My weekend plans include.. I dunno!!!  I am thinking of going to my Mamma's house this weekend but we still haven't decided anything.  This weekend is a 3 day weekend in Iceland and the biggest travel weekend of the summer.


Now that I am finally done filling this out.....9 hours later!!!  I am going to sleep!
