Exciting things to come....

In two weeks my Mamma and Amma (Grandmother) are coming to visit!!!  My Mamma is staying for 11 days and my Amma is staying for a month :o)  My Amma is not going to be here with me the whole month but she will be here longer than my Mamma and then my Amma is going to see her friend in Ohio.  I am so excited!!!!  I have not had any family here since January of 2008 and I am definitely do for some family visit!!!

My friend Rachel is going to watch my daycare kids for some of the days for me so we can go do some shopping and running around.  That is so wonderful because every time I have had someone here to visit me I have always had to work the whole time.

Also we are going to Chicago for Easter and I can not wait to see Jalen!!!  I miss him so much and I know Dewayne and the boys miss him like crazy too.  We are going to leave here on Thursday next week and come home on Monday.  I am not looking forward to the drive there but I know it will be worth it when we get there.  This is the longest I have gone without going to Chicago since I met Dewayne.  I haven't been there in 13 months!!  Wow!!  I know that Dewayne's family is really excited to see Kobe and the boys too.  They haven't seen Kobe since he was 6 months old and now he is almost 19 months and walking and talking!!!  Hopefully he will be good on the drive there.....he screamed bloody murder on the way home from Chicago last time.  But when we went to Missouri he did really good on the drive there and back and the Chicago trip takes about the same amount of time.

Well I don't remember if I have written about the orders or not but Dewayne is going to Bahrain.  He will leave here on August 1 and he is going to be there for 1 year :o(  I don't know what we are going to do without him.  It still has not sunk in and I'm sure it wont sink in until it comes closer to go time.  He is getting everything ready with the military now, doing all his check out with medical and dental and everything else he needs to do.

While Dewayne is gone I am going to go to school.  I have already applied and now all I need to do is go take my placement test.  I am going to wait about a month though and study the hell out of my practice book before I go so I will score well on the test.  The test determines where I stand and I do not want to have to take some refresher courses and have to pay for them out of pocket if I do not have to.  Hopefully I will do good and can go straight to the courses I need to go into nursing.  I have to do about one year of courses before I can start the nursing program because they have so many classes that are required to get into the program.  Well that is ok because that just means I do not have to switch schools halfway through my nursing degree if we get orders somewhere else when Dewayne comes home from Bahrain.  I am really excited about starting school.  I thought about doing some summer classes but I think I am going to wait until fall so I am not swamped with school work the last few months that Dewayne has left at home.

Ok well enough for now.  I have to go take some Tylenol my head is BOOM BOOMING!!!  That means hurting really bad for those of you who did not get that :o)  Have a great Thursday everyone.

Tired

I didn´t go to sleep until 2 am last night.  I was feeling like sh*t last night, my throat was hurting, head all stuffy and I had such bad body aches.  I was going to be asleep by 10 but Kobe had other things in mind.  He stayed up until after 1 am and by the time I could go to sleep I was so exhausted that I could not fall asleep right away.  Then I almost over slept this morning but thank goodness my good old friend Michele called and woke me up with her good news.  She just got a great job working for the government and she wanted to share her good news with me :o)  Congrats honey bunches....I am so happy for you!!!

Now I am waiting for my chinese food to get here and I am going to pig out.  Then with a full belly I am going to get in my bed, watch a little bit of TV and then off to bed I go.

I have a Drs appointment in the morning for a consult to get my wisdom teeth pulled out.  They are bothering me so much and it is about damn time they come out.  Hopefully I will get them out ASAP and be done with it and never have to worry about my damn wisdom teeth again.

Ok people...I am gonna go now cause my food should be here any minute :o)
Good Night!!

2 year wedding anniversary

Today Dewayne and I have been married for 2 whole years!!!  I  can not believe how fast this two years has gone by and yet on the other hand it seems like it was just yesterday that we got married.  The day we got married we went to the Court house with the boys and got married in some guys office...it was actually really funny cause the way the guy talked (forever and ever and ever and ever...in an Eeyore voice).  After we got married we went home and enjoyed the day together and that night we ordered Chinese food.  Last year to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary we stayed in and ordered Chinese again (we were really broke :o).  This year we are going to go out to eat and enjoy the hell out of our day.  We are going to a place called the Melting Pot, they serve fondue type meals.  Everyone that goes there has something good to say about it.  Then we might go to the movies, depending on the time and mood.

Ok off to go enjoy my husband and boys.  Have a great Sunday :o)

Catching up on the last two weeks

Dewayne running his 40 yard dash in 4.2 seconds
Dewayne preparing to run the 40 yard dash
Here is Kobe watching his Daddy try out for the DC Armour at 5 am.

I was going to write this last week and never seemed to get the time to write it.

We went to DC on Friday the 16th for Dewayne to try out for an Arena Football team in Washington DC called the DC Armour.  He was asked to come for a personal try out because he had missed the actual team try outs.  Well he did so good, including running the 40 yard dash in 4.2 seconds that the Coach asked him to join the team right there on the spot.  YIPPY!!!!!

So now Dewayne has to go to DC every weekend for football practice and then in the end of February he is going to be moving up there to play for the team.  The season runs from March through the end of June.  I am so excited for him, he did so good and the coach was so happy with him.

Then on my birthday January 19th I had a BBQ and we had a bunch of friends come over.  It was a great day and I am so happy that I got to share my day with my friends!!!  Thank you all for coming and sharing my day :0)

Ok besides that we have not done much else this last week.  Kobe has had a very bad cold and now Dewayne has it too.  Poor things they get every little pest that goes around.

Ok so now off to watch the kids.  Have a great Tuesday everyone!!!

President Barack Obama

I am so proud to live in America today.  Words can not describe how I felt as I watched the Inauguration of President Barack Obama.  I sat here with tears rolling down my cheeks thinking about what this means for my own children.  America now has a BLACK President and hopefully that means no more racism and no more prejudice in this great country.  I am so thankful and so proud to have lived to see this moment.

I don't have the right words to say to express how I feel today.  I hope President Obama will do a wonderful job in office and make us all proud....I know he will do a wonderful job.  We now need him to get in office and stop this war and help the worlds economic crisis.

This past weekend Dewayne, Kobe and I went to Washington DC for Arena football try outs for Dewayne and after the try outs we went sight seeing in DC.  We took pics of the White house, Pentagon, Arlington cemetery and more.  It was wonderful to see all of this only days before the Obamas moved to DC.  I am going to post the pics that we took and then I am going to write another blog in regards to this weekend.

Again let me say how proud I am today of this great country for making this huge step.

What a bad couple of days.....

So first of all let me tell you about the phone call I got this morning....

Dewayne called to tell me that the orders we picked no longer apply.  He had to put in an extension to stay in the military because next year he has to reenlist.  Well the extension has not gone through so we have to pick orders again next month and this months orders that we picked are no longer any good.  WTF I am so disappointed, I was looking forward to knowing our future in the next month and now I have to wait two months before I know anything.  That means I only have 5 months or less to prepare for a move!!!!  Oh well God is definitely testing my patients with these orders.

So on to the next thing that happened this weekend.

The boys had their friends stay the night on Friday and they were all laying on the couch watching Dark Knight.  Well the boys started falling asleep on the couch so I told them they could just sleep there that night (my boys love sleeping on the couch).  Well I woke up to some noise down stairs at 5:30 am and told the boys to go to sleep.  Well then I get out of bed on Saturday morning and go down stairs to start my day and I turned the TV on so Kobe could watch some cartoons.  The TV had a huge crack in the screen and the screen was all kinds of different colors.  We called the boys into the living room and asked them what happened and they said they were playing the Wii and Tyrique accidentally threw the remote at the TV!!!  Holy shit my TV is ruined because of that damn Wii!!!  So now I have to call the insurance company and claim the TV and we have to pay a $250 deductible to get a new one.  I am so glad I have insurance but I am so pissed that my TV is ruined.  Tyrique is not in any trouble for breaking the TV because we know it was just an accident but he is in trouble for not telling us that he broke the TV.  He said he didn't want to tell me because he didn't want me to wake up in a bad mood.  Poor thing he feels so bad about the TV and I know that it is really bothering him.  He keeps talking about it and I told him that we understand that it was an accident and we are not blaming him for it.

Yeah so that is the run down of what has been going on here.  Oh I forgot to mention that I did get an e-mail on Saturday from one of my daycare parents giving me her child's 2 week notice.  It is because he is always sick and she is mad because I will not watch him when he is sick and she can not understand that.  He had the stomach flu before Christmas and she brought him here sick and he got my kids sick.  Now last week she brought him here and again he had the stomach flu and I told her he could not come back until he was over the stomach flu and she had to find someone else to watch him.  I can not put all the other children and their families at risk just because she doesn't want to miss a day from work.  She told me in her e-mail that she was giving me her notice because she found someone that lives closer to her house and she is going to get a new job closer to her house cause the driving back and forth is too much for her.  Why couldn't she just be honest with me??  I know why she is giving me her notice and I just feel bad for her child because it took him such a long time adjusting to daycare and now she is putting him in his 3rd daycare in 7 months!!!

Ok enough rambling for today.  Hope you all have a great Monday!!!

Orders Have been picked!!!

This morning at 8:55 am Dewayne called me to tell me that he was going to see the Detailer about picking orders.  OMG I got this huge knot in my stomach and he asked me where I wanted to go besides Italy and I told him to pick something good :0)  Well he just got home with our list of places that he picked and here are the 5 possible places I will be moving to in 6 months.

1. NSA Gaeta Italy

2. NSA Gaeta Italy

3. VFA 81 NAS Oceana Virginia Beach (we would stay here)

4. VQ3 Tinker Oklahoma

5. LHD4 San Diego California

Of course our top pick is Gaeta Italy but Dewayne thinks we will end up staying put here and I have a feeling we are going to be sent to San Diego.  I ask that you all keep your fingers crossed and send us some Italy vibes so we can be close to home.  The detailer said that we should know next month sometime!!!  OMG I am really excited and I need to calm down because I have a long ass wait ahead of me.
