My three Sons

I was taking pictures the other day of my beautiful boys and I wanted to share them with you.

First off is Tyrique with his ever growing hair....he looks a little tired in this picture but still as handsome as ever!

Next comes Markus with his ever growing hair LOL.  Markus decided that he wants his hair to grow long like Justin Bieber's :-0  I'm still getting used to him with long hair.  I keep asking him if he wants a hair cut but he is stubborn as ever that he wants it long.

Last but not least is Kobe.  He just got a Lazy Town hat and wanted me to take a picture of him with his hat. He was making an ugly face but at the last minute he changed his expression and this is how the picture ended up.  

Just Thursday and a little update

I was off on Monday and Tuesday and Monday Kobe and I spent lounging around in our PJ's enjoying not having to do anything (I really could have been cleaning and organizing but....I didn't feel like it).  On Tuesday I met my Step Dad in Reykjavik (the capital of Iceland) and he took Kobe for me.  My Mamma and Step Dad take him when I work on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Kobe was not a happy camper when he realized he was not coming home with me.  He screamed bloody murder the whole time.  He is okay though cause once he gets to his grandparents house he is really happy.  He loves being with them (I think it's because he gets spoiled rotten) and he gets to spend time with my little sisters who all adore him too.  My poor little munchkin is just a Mamma's boy who has a hard time separating from me.

Tyrique and Markus are doing well.  Markus is playing Basketball and he LOVES it.  He has practice 3 times a week and so far has had one tournament.  He is trying to get adjusted to living in Iceland, he is speaking the language very well but is having a hard time learning to read and write in Icelandic.  Markus asks me on a regular basis if we can move back home (home being stateside).  He had a hard time making friends but in the last two weeks he has started going out to play with kids much more.

Tyrique is also involved in sports.  He is in Parkour (it is where they run up walls and do flips...some sort of gymnastics).  He goes to practice twice a week and can't get enough.  Tyrique is going to light therapy three times a week for his eczema and he has Pityriasis Alba, so far we are seeing some improvements.  He goes into the booth for about 30 seconds at a time (once per visit) and he has been going for about a month now.  His skin has not cleared up completely but his itching has improved and so have the sores (he scratches till he bleeds).  Tyrique loves living in Iceland and he is doing great speaking, reading and writing the language.  He has an advantage though cause he learned to read and write in Icelandic first and then English.

Outside my window..it's dark out still and it is really cold.  It is 2 Celsius or about 35 Fahrenheit....brrrr it's freezing cold here and I am working inside and outside!

The time is..7:28 AM

Today I feel..tired.  I went to sleep about 7:30 PM last night and slept until about 4:30 AM so you would think I would be well rested but I would love to get back in the bed and sleep a few more hours :) 

I am thinking.. that I hope today goes by fast!

At the moment, I am thankful.. for the overtime I am getting this weekend!!  

I am going..to be working till 5:30 PM and then I am off to see the Wizard getting Tyrique and Markus and heading to Mamma's house!

I am wearing..my work clothes!

I wish..I could have things my way LOL!!!

I am reading..Blogs....that is all I have time for!  I am just glad to have some time to do that :o)

  

I am working on..being better at blogging!

I am hoping..that the cleaning fairy will come by my house today while I am working!

I am hearing..Airplanes getting ready to take off.

I bet you didn't know..that when I see the planes taking off I wish I was in those planes and I dream about where that plane is going :o)

Weekend Plans.. 

[Thursday] get Ty and Markus and go to Mamma's house when I get off work.

[Friday] Enjoy spending some time at Mamma's house then head home in the afternoon.  Christmas crafting with my friends!

[Saturday] work and spend time with my boys that night.

[Sunday] work and spend time with my boys that night.

The Moon

Today I read the most amazing status ever on facebook and I have to share it with you girls.

Never ignore a person who loves you and cares for you. One day you may realize you've lost the moon while counting the stars.

Today was the last day of my shift and the day could not go by fast enough.  It has been raining like crazy this afternoon and all I could think about was getting home and putting some PJ's on, getting under the covers and watching a movie with the boys.  Now I am here and that is exactly what I am going to do.  I want to make sure I pay attention to the three moons that are all around me :o)

Boring Saturday

It's Saturday afternoon and I am sitting at work waiting for the clock to say 5:30 so I can go home.  The weekend shifts are always the hardest shift because they are the longest.  I work 36 hours during the weekend shifts and I am always so tired afterwards, the house looks a mess and the boys are in serious need of some Mom time.  

I have been knitting up a storm and have lots of cute projects to show off to you guys.  I am making Monster Pants and I am working on my third pair.  They are so darn cute and everyone who sees them goes crazy for them.  I am working on an order pair right now and I am almost done.  I am hoping to be finished with them by early next week so I can hand them over to their excited new owner :o)

I have started my Christmas shopping and I am so excited, I have done quite a bit of shopping already and it is the middle of October.  I have some presents that I want to have mailed out by the middle of November so they get there on time (sometimes the mail system sucks when delivering mail overseas).  I want to have my Christmas shopping done by the end of November and if things go my way I will :o)

Five Question Friday

I had to check to see if there were pigs flying outside because today makes 3 posts in one week LOL!!!  There were no pigs flying though, just dark and cold outside this morning.  

My morning started out bad because I got up at 2:30 AM because I was sick to my stomach and I haven't slept since (I went to bed at 11 PM Last night).  I had to be at work at 5:30 and I didn't make it in till a little after 6 because of my stomach issues ugh!!!  Now I am here and I feel like crap :o(  Oh well, tomorrow will be a better day :o)

Today is my Mamma's birthday so I have to give her a shout out on my blog...

I like candy corn but only a few pieces at a time.  Otherwise I love me some miniature snickers....yumm!!!!

Yep....don't you???  I hate having to scramble looking for sock or anything else when I am getting dressed.  I fold my undies too :o)

That babies grow up and turn into teenagers who talk back and think you don't know anything.

I don't have a significant other so I am going to skip this question.

Can you believe it....I am blogging for the second time this week!!!!

Outside my window..it's beautiful.  The sun is shining but it is a little windy.

The time is..12:55 PM

Today I feel..still a little blah :o(  I need to get over this and get back to my normal self again!

I am thinking.. that it is time to get this house in order!!!

At the moment, I am thankful.. I dunno what to write but the norm....my kids, family, job, blah blah blah.  

I am going..continue getting this house in order.  I have been working on my room today.

I am reading..I am still reading Eat.Pray.Love and just saw the movie the other day!!  The movie was really good!!!

Weekend Plans.. 

[Thursday] clean and organize house

[Friday] work and come home to spend a little time with my boys and then early to bed.

[Saturday] work, spend time with the boys and then I have a birthday party to go to that night.

[Sunday] work and try to stay awake since I am going to stay up late on Saturday night!  I am such a wuss, I can't stay up late when I work....I get up at 4:30 AM and am out the door by 5:15 and work till 5:30 PM.  By the time 8 or 9 o'clock come around I am ready to hit the hay.

Dibs

Markus and Tyrique went through a phase where they called dibs every time they got up off their seat or walked away from the computer or TV.  Dibs (just in case you don't know) is yelled out to save your seat and when you call dibs no one can steal your seat (computer, TV, video game, etc).  

Kobe picked up on this game and he called dibs every time he moves a muscle LOL.  We were eating dinner and he said to me.... 

Kobe: Mamma I call dibs on the XBOX.

Me: Okay Baby.

Kobe: Mamma, what do you call dibs on???  Do you call dibs on your facebook?  LOL

Mamma: Sure Kobe, I call dibs on my computer.

Kobe: Then I won't get on it cause I called dibs on the XBOX.

He is so darn cute!!!

I have been a little bit blah lately but I have been reading your blogs....been a little bit bad about commenting though :(

I started the Couch to 5K last week and so far I am really liking it (besides the one time I thought I was going to die LOL).  I have been watching what I am eating and have been trying to move my butt and so far since Sept 1st I have lost about 6.5 lbs.  I feel better about myself and I need to keep at it.  

I am still trying to get my house put away and organized but I am having a really hard time getting things done.  I need a man to help put some shelves up and I need someone with a truck to get my TV cabinet and coffee table from my sisters house.  One fine day this will all be done and then I will take some pictures of this place to show you girls.  

This week is my long work week and I have off tomorrow and Thursday so I am going to try to get some of this house done during that time.
