5 Question Friday

It's Friday and I am working........blah!!!  There is one good thing about it being Friday though besides the fact that I have off the rest of the weekend.........Five Question Friday!!!!   Mama M over at My Little Life is the creator of this great blog hop.  Click on the button above to play along.

1. If you could speak with a different accent, what would it be (i.e Australian, Scottish)?

I would say British, I think British accents are pretty HOT! 

2. Can you fall asleep anywhere? (i.e floor, couch, deck)

No, no and no!!!  I can not sleep anywhere other than my bed.  Sometimes and I am talking like once in a blue moon I will fall asleep on the couch but it doesn't last long.

3. Do you use public restrooms? If so, do you sit on the toilet?

If I have to I use a public restroom but I hate using them.  I do sit on the toilet after cleaning it.  The reason why is because if I hover over the toilet I never manage to empty my bladder and I get a UTI.

4. If you were stuck in an elevator for 24 hours, what celebrity would you most want to be stuck with?

Screw the celebrity I am too claustrophobic to imagine being stuck in an elevator for 24 hours!!!!

5. Where did you & your significant other go on your 1st date?

Being that I do not have a significant other I get to pass on this question.

Today I feel..good!

I am thinking.. that this is day 2 of my 3 day work schedule.

At the moment, I am thankful.. for so many things!  

I am going..to be working an extra shift tomorrow

I am wearing..My work uniform

I wish..I had a million dollars LOL

I am reading..Blogs....I am trying to catch up on all of your blogs :o)

I am working on..my home.  I have so much left to do to get everything organized and put away.

I am hoping..to have the house put away and decorated by Saturday since I am having Kobe's birthday party then.

I am hearing..silence and I love it!!!

I bet you didn't know.. I am loving the color Turquoise right now!!!  That color is so addictive!! 

One of my favorite..see answer above LOL.  I really am in love with Turquoise and white right now.   If I am not careful my whole house will be decorated in those two colors.

I confess..I have been kinda lazy since moving back home and haven't gotten nearly as much done as I should have.

Weekend Plans.. Friday I am working.  Birthday party for Kobe on Saturday and Sunday I plan on doing a whole lotta nothing!!!

Work Picture Wednesday

I thought it would be fun to take some pictures of where I work and show you all :o)

This is in front of the building.

This is my desk....I sit in the corner next to the window and no one sits at the computer on the end.

This is the view outside my window here at work.  On the left is the airport but the sun was so bright that I couldn't take a picture to show you.  I will have to do that another day.

So now you see where I work and now you see my view everyday.

I used to work inside of the airport but after September 1st I started working at the returns.  

New Look

I was playing around with backgrounds today and chose this really PINK background....I really like love the color pink!!!  This background may just be a little too pink for me though :)  We'll see how it goes though!

Awhile back I had a poll on my blog trying to come up with a new blog name and the results were that I should choose Goldy Locks and her 3 sons.  I was really loving the idea of changing my blog name and getting a new start on life, then...........I saw that there is another blog called Goldie Locks and her three bears!!  After I saw that I lost interest in using that name, I want to be unique and that just killed it for me.  You see when I did the blog hop Friday Follow I saw that there was another blog called My World and I didn't like the fact that we both had the same blog name.  But, I think I will just stick with the same blog name.  It has been the name of my blog since day one and heck....this is My World :o)

Next on the agenda is to talk to you all about my apartment.  It is pretty much done......the only thing is that my Dad needs to come finish some last minute things and change a pipe in the kitchen but I am able to move back home :o)  I was going to move back home last night but the whole apartment needs to be cleaned (there is saw dust here and there and some remnants of flooring) and I started last night and I am going to finish that tonight when I get home from work.  Then after I am done cleaning tonight I am going to move us back home :o)  I can not wait to get back to my routine.

So I wrote that at work yesterday and now it is Monday morning and I am moved back home!  I slept here last night and it was great.  We did go to sleep rather late and are tired this morning but it's okay, we will just go to sleep early tonight.  The house looks so good and yesterday I had a ton of visitors come over to look and everyone was loving it!

Now I am going to keep putting my stuff away and organizing my home.

The day has finally come

It has been over 2 months since I started the work on my home and I have been living with my sister and brother in law during all of that time.  It has been a really long and difficult process but....

Today is the day I move back home!!!

The hardwood floors have been laid and the kitchen cabinets have been ripped out....yep, you read that right, I ripped out my kitchen cabinets!!!  I have a counter top and I am going to slooooowly buy new kitchen cabinets. When we were starting the work on the kitchen we saw that we would have had to pull the existing cabinets away from the wall to get to the pipes that were behind them and it wasn't worth the trouble.  Besides, the kitchen cabinets needed to be replaced!!! 

We added another bedroom so Tyrique and Markus will not be sharing a room anymore...now Markus and Kobe will share and Tyrique will have his own room and so will I :o)  One of the rooms is going to take a bit more work so we are going to have to wait to use it but Ty and Markus will share a room until then.  My bathroom looks like a whole new bathroom with the beautiful tiles and the new wall hanging toilet (I am so excited to be able to mop under the toilet....with 3 boys in the house that will be a luxury).  

I promise I will take lots of pictures and post them on here soon.  I have been taking pictures through out the process and I will show you the before and afters.  I just want to move in and show you the afters after I have put my stuff away and decorated.  As of tomorrow I will have so much more time to do the things I have been missing out on like BLOGGING!!!!  I have really missed all of you and I can't wait to catch up on all your blogs.

For now though I have to get back to work.

Just Thursday

I'm back!!!

I can't guarantee for how long but I am back for today at least :o)

We have been working on my house like crazy and the bathroom is almost complete.  I now have tiles on my floors and my toilet is being installed hopefully by the end of the day.....I am sooooooooo oober duper excited!!!!  I bought the hard wood floors on Tuesday and I am hoping the shipment gets here today so my Dad and brother in law can start laying the flooring today.  My Dad took off from work for the rest of the week to try to get the apartment finished so I can move back home.  

Monday was Kobe's 3rd birthday.....my baby is 3 years old!!!!  I just had him yesterday so I can't understand how he can be 3 already....time is going way too fast when it comes to my kids.  I want them to stay little forever!!!!

I am going to have a birthday party for Kobe after I move back home so I will show you all those pictures when they come along.  I took some pictures of him on the morning of his birthday opening his birthday presents and I am going to post them on here so my Aunt Sharla can see them.....and the rest of you too of course :)

Okay enough for now, I have to get back to work.

Today I feel..super duper excited!!!!

I am thinking.. of how I am going to decorate my "new" home :o) 

At the moment, I am thankful.. that I have a job and have such a wonderful Dad and Brother in law who are willing to spend all their free time busting their butt at my place.  I am thankful for my Mamma who is watching Kobe for me while I was working yesterday and today.  I am thankful for all the wonderful things that are going on right now.

I am going..to be working for the next 11 hours and then I am going to get Kobe from my Mamma's.

I am wearing..Work clothes.

I wish..I had time/energy to blog again..I miss it! :(   I have to agree with Abby on this one!! I love blogging and it kills me that I do not have time for it now.  I don't really have time for anything other than work and the apartment.  My poor sons are really missing their Mamma right now :o(  

I am reading..Eat, Pray, Love. [very slowly!]  Yeah I have to second that.....I haven't picked mine up in 2 months but yeah I was reading it very slowly too LOL.

I am working on..getting my apartment done so I can get my life back in order!!!

I am hoping..that we get the flooring in this weekend so I can move back home :o)

I am hearing..music in the background from the cleaning crew.

I bet you didn't know.. I didn't start the new job like I was supposed to last week!!!  I was asked to stay with my company :o)

One of my favorite..things to do is travel!  I second that one too Abby....I love to travel :o)
