Here is the last few days in pictures!!!

Aunt Sharla is the best Aunt ever...she always sends a box for holidays and the boys LOVE it!!!  They were jumping for joy when they saw the box had come so I decided to take pictures for the blog!




I put all the candy up on top of the fridge (yes, Sharla I moved it as soon as I got your e-mail) and Kobe went crazy for it.  He pulled up a chair and tried to reach for the candy....as you can see, he is a little bit too short still.

Here is the start of the pile of things I need to send to Iceland.

Adding on the Longaberger baskets.

Here is the first box filled with all my wonderful baskets and Kobe's hedgehogs.

I went to Walmart yesterday and did a little bit of damage!!!  After packing up half of the pile, I added twice as much to the pile....dang it!!!!

Kobe was playing with my mixing bowls and measuring cups and spoons yesterday.  Isn't this the cutest thing ever :o)

I bought these awesome bags so I could take my pillows and comforter with me to Iceland and I think these things are just he coolest!!!

Not Me! Monday

I haven't done a Not me! Monday in a long time so I thought it was about time.

Today we are not going through clothes and cleaning out closets preparing for our move to Iceland.

Today I am not going to start packing the suitcases.

Today I am not having Dewayne go to the post office to get me boxes so I can ship some stuff to Iceland.

I do not have two pages worth of lists of stuff to buy and stuff to pack.

Last night I did not buy myself a laptop for school...I am not really excited to start school this fall :o)

Today I am not getting a permit so I can have a Garage sale this weekend.

I am not worried about selling all my stuff before we leave.

I did not sell my Kitchen Aid mixer on Saturday night :o(

I am not sitting at the computer writing a blog post when I should be going through clothes and packing!!!

I am not getting off the computer right now so I can start :o)

Getting to know you on Easter Sunday

First off let me start by saying Happy Easter everyone!!! I hope you all had a wonderful day with your family and friends! We have had a great day so far. We went to church with Dewayne this morning and go to see him drumming to all the songs he has been practicing to lately. After the 4 hours it took at church we went to Dewayne's Grandmothers house and had Easter dinner. Then we headed home to let the boys open their Easter baskets and eat their fill of candy.

1. Showers or baths?

When I am getting ready to go it is shower all the way. At night I love to take baths!! Getting into a steaming hot bath with a good book with lit candles all over the bathroom....priceless!!!

2. Do you have any crazy urges?

I don't really know what Keely means by this question so I am just going to answer it the best I can :o)

It just started thundering out and I have a crazy urge to get under the blankets in my bed and watch the storm with the boys cuddled all around me.....I don't think that's crazy in anyway though LOL!

3. What is one thing we don't know about you?

I think you all know too much about me at times...bra size, what kinda panties I wear, mothers maiden name, city of birth, my debit card password, etc.

I have forgotten to mention one thing....

My blood type is O+ and I am an organ donor and I feel very passionately about making sure that everything that can be donated on/in my body is donated when I die.

4. Exercise..love it or hate it?

I hate to exercise but I love how good I feel after I am done!!! I need to exercise or I am going to become round soon!

5. Do you think you have a good body image?

Right now I am really unhappy with my body....I have gained a lot of weight since I moved here to Illinois 2 months ago and I need to start working out NOW!!! When I get to Iceland I am going to kick it into high gear and get Hot again :o)

6. Flour or corn tortillas?

Flour!

7. How do you celebrate Easter?

See my first paragraph for the answer to this question :o)

8. Hard boiled Easter eggs or plastic eggs?

Plastic eggs...all the way!!! I have never done the hard boiled eggs and I have to say....they seem like a lot of work for one day! Besides, does anyone eat the hard boiled eggs or are they just thrown away???

Getting ready

Whew, what a day! We have been out and about all day long. We started by going to the store this morning to get the boys dress up shoes to go with their suits. Then we went to lunch at A&W (gross), next we went to visit Dewayne's little brother that I had never met.

His little brother is 13 (he will be 14 in July) and Tyrique and him became fast friends. They are both into all the same things, sports, video games, girls, phones, etc! We BBQed for dinner and everyone had a great time. Kobe walked away with the Toy Story 2 movie and couldn't be happier with his new movie. He is a huge Buzz Lightyear fan! Markus was happy as could be to play with the XBOX 360 and shoot some hoops with the big boys when he felt like coming outside.

It really was nice to get out of the house. I have pretty much barricaded myself inside except when I go to the store. I don't know anyone here and I don't really feel up to visiting Dewayne's family. It just feels weird and everyone acts like I am an outcast (or so I feel like).

I can't wait to go home to MY family and MY friends!!!! 17 more days and I am outta here :o)

I am off to get ready for tomorrow. We are going to go with Dewayne to church in the morning and then I dunno what we are going to do the rest of the day.

Five Question Friday 4/2/10

Sorry it took me so long to get to 5QF but I have been a busy girl today!! I took the boys to the store this morning (they are on spring break as of today) and bought them all Easter clothes. My boys are going to look so HOT in their new suits!!! This is the first time I have ever bought my boys suits. I have always just bought them nice pants and a dress shirt with or without a tie and maybe even a set that comes with a vest. This time I am going all out so they will have nice clothing to take with them to Iceland. I will take pictures on Sunday so you can all see how handsome my lil men are :o)

1. Do you sing out loud in the car when you're driving?

YES!!! I sing out loud anytime a good song comes on. As a matter of fact, this morning while we were at the store a good song came on and I started singing and Tyrique begged me to stop because he said it was embarrassing!! Can you believe it? He said I was embarrassing him and I wasn't even singing loud enough for anyone to hear other than the boys!!

In other words....I love to sing :o)

2. What would you never be caught doing?

Stealing, murdering someone....I dunno!! I would never do something illegal though...unless I knew I wasn't going to get caught LOL!! No, I'm kidding. I would never steal or murder or fart in public!

3. Will you go #2 in a public restroom?

This used to be a huge issue for me when I was younger. I was never able to go #2 unless I was in my own home. When I moved out of my Mamma's house I used to come to her house every day for a few weeks until I got used to the fact that I had to go #2 in my own home.

I have gotten over this fear now....sort of! I can not go #2 in someones house but I will go #2 in a public bathroom if I am traveling. But really, if I got sick to my stomach and I couldn't get home....I would totally go!

4. Have you ever broken a bone?

I have broken toes!!! I have broken both of my pinkie toes and I broke the toe next to the pinkie toe two years ago when I accidentally kicked the stove. I pulled some tissue off the toe when it happened and ended up getting blood poisoning too :o) That was not my first time getting blood poisoning either...I got blood poisoning after a hot tub drinking party too!!

5. Do you prefer cooking or baking?

When I was younger I used to love to bake. Now....I bake but it is not my favorite thing in the world. I guess I would have to say cook now even though that is something I have no interest in doing these a days!

Flips

The other day I was trying to clean up the living room and Kobe decided that was a good time for him to do some flips. He started and then stopped and told me to get my camera so I could take pictures of him doing flips.

Of course I ran to get my camera and started taking pics of him :o)

So there were no real flips that were done but the pictures look cute none the less :o)

It has been really warm here today...it went up to 83 degrees! The house was so hot that I gave in and turned the air conditioner on.......I know, I'm a sissy! I hate a hot house and the house was HOT!!! It was over 80 degrees in the house and we were miserable.
