Hurricane Hanna
Today Hurricane Hanna is coming up the coast line heading straight towards Virginia. By the time it gets here though it is supposed to be a tropical storm so it will be so much less than what we first thought it would be. Dewayne is Navy Security so he was restricted to the base and he is not allowed to leave until everything is over because he will be on call. He is sitting in some barracks room (that we had to pay for and we live 5 min from the base) playing X-BOX 360 and relaxing on his mini vacation while I am sitting here with the kids. I know that this is all part of being in the military but damn it sucks to be here all alone. I was really scared of the storm but now I am just worried that it will flood here. I am also kinda worried that we will loose electricity. We took everything out of the back yard except the trampoline which is secured to the fence and we put the garbage can underneath the trampoline. The grill is still outside because I don't really know what to do with it (I have no where to put it). If the weather gets really bad then I will take the grill inside the house, I am just kind of afraid of the propane tank on there. The boys and I are just going to have a relaxing night at home and maybe I will try to scrapbook since I am here all alone. I will let you all know how everything goes as soon as I can. Have a great weekend everyone and be safe.

First Day of school
Yesterday was the first day of school for Tyrique and Markus. Tyrique is now in the 6th grade which is middle school and Markus is in 3rd grade. I can not believe my babies are getting so big, before we know it they will be in High school and then college. Both of the boys loved their schools and all their teachers. Tyrique now has the school schedule where he has a different teacher for each class and Markus has one teacher for his classroom and then he has a special ed teacher that he goes to. Markus goes to special ed because of his dyslexia and last year he spent atleast half the day in the special ed class room but this year he is only going for extra help maybe one time a day or so. He is doing so well in school now that he doesn't need as much help as he did. Tyrique is getting more help in school and I am very happy about that, he now goes to an ESL (English Second Language). I fought for this the whole time he was in elementary school but they always said he did not qualify but now that he is in a new school....tada he qualifies!!! I have the boys reading each night before they go to bed to help strengthen their reading skills. I finally found some books that they are into and they love to read before going to bed now. Last night Markus even asked if he could stay up a few more minutes to finish his chapter he was on :0)
Kobe has another ear infection I think. He has been pulling at his ear and for the past two nights he has been waking up at night and not wanting to go back to sleep. I mentioned in an earlier blog about where Kobe was not wanting to go to sleep at night and I could not figure out why, well it turned out that he had an ear infection. He is now doing the same thing, I put him to sleep and within an hour he wakes up crying and I try everything in my power to put him back to sleep and finally end up with him down stairs. He goes to sleep eventually and wants to sleep the day away after that. I am trying to get Kobe an appointment to see the Dr today so he will feel better. Also Kobe has an appointment on Thursday September 25th to see the ENT about getting tubes in his ears. Poor baby he has had so many ear infections in such a short time. By the way have I mentioned that my baby is going to be 1 on Saturday.....OMG I can not believe that he is growing up so fast!!!
Ok well Dewayne and I are doing good, he is just playing football like always. He only has 3 games left so the season is almost over...Thank goodness cause I am tired of not having my husband home. I am doing good just working on a new challenge, to bike 100 miles by Halloween. So far I am 6 miles into my 100, I just started on Sunday and I have gone out to ride twice. I am riding 3 miles at a time now and hopefully I can get myself up to about 4 before long.
Well that is enough for now. Have a great Wednesday everyone :0)

The Results
I went to the Drs and she said that she does not think it is breast cancer. She wants to send me to have an ultrasound just to be on the safe side though. The Dr told me that she thinks I have Fibrocystic Disease of the Breast. What that means is basically I have soft to firm movable lumps in my breasts and they can cause the breasts to be tender or painful. So if it is that and not breast cancer then I am one happy camper. I am still very scared though and can't seem to shake that feeling, I know I will be just fine though and soon I will have that ultrasound and then I will be just fine.
I also took Tyrique to the Drs today, he saw a Dermatologist for his skin. The Dr said that he does not have a fungus and he is not contagious. He has really bad Ezcema (just like I thought). So Tyrique can go back to playing football and doing what he wants to do and he is soooooo excited. Their first scrimage game is on Friday and then there is another one on Saturday and he does not want to miss those.
Ok well enough for now. I want to go eat something and relax....I haven't been able to eat anything today because my stomach was a mess but now I am HUNGRY.
Here goes
Well it is 6:45 and I am walking out the door to go to the Drs appointment. I cried so much last night and I had a really hard time sleeping but the moment of truth has come. I am on my way and I will let you know how it goes when I get back. Wish me luck :0/

Worrying
This weekend I found a lump in my left breast and I am really worried. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning at 7 and I have been trying to stay positive about this but damnit it's so hard. The what if's keep popping into my head and sometimes I feel like crying but I keep telling myself I need to stay positive. Last night I could not sleep because I had such weird dreams, the only one I really remember was dreaming that Kobe was standing holding onto a table and he was choking on some food and his face was blue and no one was able to help him. I woke up from that dream and ran into his room to check on him and he was sleeping so peacefully. I went back to bed and tried my all not to cry because the dream seemed so real. I just held onto Dewayne for dear life and tried to go back to sleep. When I finally fell back to sleep Dewayne turned over and woke me back up and it took me forever to fall back to sleep. This morning I am so tired and so stressed out that I snapped at Dewayne when he was here during lunch and I snapped at Tyrique this morning because of his hair. I can't wait till after the doctors appointment tomorrow so I can feel better. Ok well I am going to lay on the couch and try to relax while the kids are sleeping. I will let you know how the appointment goes tomorrow morning.

My Husband is Great
Dewayne was in the local paper this week for being freaking awsome :0) They did an article on him basically talking about football and then some about the Navy. The story was a whole page and it was so great. Dewaynes team right now is undefeated or 8-0. The game they played last night was against the DC Chiefs and they whopped their butts, the score was 56-0!!!! Dewayne played quite a bit last night and he did great.
Tyrique was holding the markers at the game and Markus was helping me with Kobe and taking pictures. Tyrique loooovvveeesss football and wants to do everything with Dewayne when he is playing. This is good for them cause it gives them a chance to bond. Markus wants to be a part of it too but he is intimidated by all the guys so he would rather sit with me in the stands. Kobe likes to clap his hands and call out to Daddy. He also likes to eat and drink his bottle :0)
Now there are only three more games left in the regular season and then playoffs start. The three games remaining are from teams that they have already beat and the one team forfitted the game. The team that forfitted the game have not won any games so they are no worry. I am so proud of my baby for how good he has done this season, I know how exhausting it is to have to go 6 days a week to practice and play football. Poor Dewayne has no life right now besides football and work.
In regards to the rest of us.....we are all doing good. Kobe is going to see the ENT next month to get tubes in his ears, since my last blog he has had another ear infection. Markus is going to start playing soccer soon (he is soooo excited). Tyrique has a rash or eczema all over his body and he has been seeing the doctor for it and when he went to get his sports physical the doctor would not clear him saying she thought it was a fungus??? WTF, Tyrique has had this thing all over his body for a year and the other doctors never mentioned fungus. The sports doc said that if it is fungus then it is contagious.....now if it is contagious don't you think the rest of us wouldn't have it by now too??? I don't know what to think...the boys are going to have school physicals on Tuesday so we will see what the doc says then.
Ok this is enough for now.....I am so tired today that I need to get Kobe and Kaden to sleep and then I am going to relax on the couch until Army Wives starts. Have a great week everyone and I will blog again one of these days.

Friday
Wow I have not blogged in a REALLY long time. I have been really lazy with it and I apologize to all my readers (lol I say that like there are thousands reading this).
So the boys are home finally and I could not be happier. Tyrique started football on Monday and they practice every day from 6 pm till 8 or 8:30 pm. Tyrique is so happy to be playing football, he is loving going to practice everyday and when I ask him if he is tired he says "No Mamma I wanted to stay longer!" I think 2 or 2.5 hours is a really long time to be out there in the heat practicing. His games start in September sometime after school has started. Markus on the other hand is not playing any sport yet because he does not want to play anything other than baseball or basketball and those seasons have not started. Well baseball season just ended so he missed out on that one so he is going to have to wait until basketball starts.
Kobe is a whole nother story.....my perfect baby who has always gone to sleep so easily is now a horror to put to sleep. Since Kobe was born I have been putting him wide awake into his bed and he goes to sleep on his own, never a problem. Well now he starts to cry as soon as I walk into his room. I don't know what happened in the last week but he does not want to go to sleep in there at all. I am so damn stubborn though that I am not going to let him sleep in my bed or get used to being put to sleep. I have been letting him cry for about 10-15 min and then I go and check on him and kiss him and put him back down to sleep and this goes on for hours. Last night I put him in his bed at 8 and he was awake until after 12 am. He then woke up before 6 am and would not go back to sleep. When I put him down for his morning nap he went down just fine but he did not have an afternoon nap today.....he just cried until I gave up at about 2 pm. Hopefully tonight he will go to sleep really good.
As far as my diet and working out goes......it's not going!!! I have been really lazy lately and I am so mad at myself for it. I am doing good the last two days though and tonight after Dewayne gets home from work I am going to go ride my bike for awhile. I am determined to loose more weight. I have lost 7 lbs. so far and I want to loose another 13 lbs. by Labor day (Sept 1st). I will keep you all informed. Ok well enough for now. Have a great weekend everyone.
